GREENWICH, Conn. Three Greenwich businessmen stepped forward Monday to claim their prize of $254.2 million in the states largest Powerball win ever, according to The Associated Press.
Gregg Skidmore, Brandon Lacoff and Tim Davidson of Bell Asset Management, a Greenwich-based wealth management company, stepped forward 27 days after the drawing, according to this article in Greenwich Time.
After taxes, the trio will take home nearly $104 million, although a significant amount will go to charity. The jackpot is the largest ever in the state and the 12th biggest in the history of Powerball.
A BP gas station in Stamford sold the winning ticket and will collect $100,000.
