The Fairfield County Children’s Choir has four choral groups for kids with a range of singing abilities in grades 4 through 12. The group accepts singers from across Fairfield County who want to perfect their skills.

At the auditions students will be asked to sing “Frere Jacques” (in French or English) and either “America the Beautiful” or “America” (My Country ’tis of Thee). They will also be asked to match melodic patterns from a piano and to demonstrate their proficiency with reading music. Kids may then be placed in one of the four groups based on their abilities.

Those interested can contact the group at 203-414-4292 starting April 13. All auditions will be at Fairfield Woods Middle School in Fairfield by appointment only.
