Fairfield-Based Connecticut Audubon Praises Veto Of ATV Use In Parks

FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- The Connecticut Audubon Society, based in Fairfield, praised a Gov. Dannel Malloy's veto of a bill that could have allowed the use of ATVs in state parks.

The group opposed the bill because of the damage widespread use of ATVs can cause to wildlife habitat, it said on its blog.
