The roadwork will be done between Exits 11 and 13 on the left shoulder and the high-speed lane in Darien and Norwalk.
The two lanes will be closed to traffic from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to allow for the repairs, DOT said.
Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
The repair work is part of the pavement preservation project along I-95. The project begins at Exit 10 and ends at Exit 15 in both the northbound and southbound directions. The regular work schedule for this project is from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday through Friday.
