Original story: FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- Traffic delays were reported Wednesday morning on the southbound Merritt Parkway from Fairfield, through Westport and Norwalk and into New Canaan and Stamford, the Connecticut Department of Transportation said.
An accident was reported near Exit 33 for Den Road at the Greenwich-Stamford border at about 8:10 a.m., the DOT said.
Congested was reported between Exit 49 and Exit 34, a stretch of 22.2 miles.
