Connecticut Gained No Jobs in April

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. ? The unemployment rate in Connecticut, while still below the national average, was unchanged in April, according to a report from the state's Department of Labor.

The rate stayed at 7.7 percent, compare to a national rate of 8.1 percent.

Dannel Malloy said Thursday. "That said, I fully recognize that we have more work to do. I remain optimistic that moving forward we’ll continue to create jobs.”
