Computers Stolen from Head USA

 

Employees of Head USA, Inc. returned to work on Monday to discover doors forced open and computers missing. Norwalk police are investigating the commercial burglary that occurred over the weekend at the corporate headquarters on Selleck Street. Five laptop computers were reported missing. Four of the computers were still in sealed cartons.

According to Barnaby Rushton, comptroller for Head USA, the company's security system revealed no breaches over the weekend suggesting the burglary was committed by someone with access to the building. Head's offices are located on the fourth floor. Lt. Paul Resnick of the NPD said the doors appeared to be forced with a tool. The total value of the missing computers is approximately $6,000. Rushton said no senstive or personal information was lost.

NPD is continuing to investigate the burglary. HEAD manufactures sporting equipment including skis and tennis rackets.
