An Air Quality Action Day means that ground level ozone in the region may approach or exceed unhealthy standards.
The high temperatures approaching 90 degrees will continues for the day, according to the National Weather Service. Slightly lower temperatures, in the low 80s, are predicted for Sunday with evening showers and thundershowers possible.
