YMCA Hosting Financial Workshops

The Norwalk YMCA will hold the first in a series of "Lunch and Learn" financial workshops on May 27 from 12:30-1:30 p.m. The program is designed for concerned parents, professionals of any age, or retirees who want to feel more in control of their own personal finances.

Gillian Anderson, Director of the Fairfield County Chapter of the Foundation for Personal Financial Education, will lead a fun and informal workshop about the basics of budgeting, cash flow management, and changing attitudes and habits about money. Whether it's managing credit card debt, saving for retirement or college education, or keeping to a monthly spending budget, Gillian will gladly field questions and point to valuable resources during this lunch talk.

Guests must RSVP to 203-604-0577. If you're a Norwalk YMCA member, please sign up at the Front Desk. The Foundation for Personal Financial Education is a non-profit educational organization comprised of various financial professionals, attorneys, accountants, financial advisors and other professionals who conduct workshops on important financial topics, including retirement planning, financial management, estate planning, asset allocation, and long-term care.
