Westport Cafe Supports SpinOdyssey

Café Manolo of Westport is partnering with Grapes of Norwalk wine shop and Gathering Harvests to help eradicate breast cancer. On Wednesday beginning at 7 p.m., the restaurant will host an evening of great food, wine and revelry at its 8 Church St. location to benefit SpinOdyssey, the 100 percent volunteer-run fun and fitness organization that supports American Cancer Society Breast Cancer Research.

Presented by Café Manolo in conjunction with Gathering Harvests LLC, the event will feature a four-course dinner created by Café Manolo's Chef Pedro Garzon. The meal will be paired with artisan wines from Niner Wine Estates of Paso Robles, Calif. Wines served during the evening will also be available for purchase from Grapes of Norwalk (located at 10 Cross St.), with 10 percent of all wine orders and dining proceeds donated to the cause.

"The generosity of Café Manolo, Niner Wine Estates, Grapes of Norwalk, Gathering Harvests and our local volunteers is what helps SpinOdyssey continue to fund breast cancer researchers in the fight against this devastating disease," said SpinOdyssey co-chair Patty Kondub. "On behalf of SpinOdyssey, and survivors and others whose lives have been touched by breast cancer, I offer my deepest thanks to these wonderful community partners for supporting our efforts with what promises to be a terrific evening of fine wine and dining."

Event tickets are $70 per person, not including tax and gratuity. Reservations are required, and seating is limited. To make a reservation, call 203-227-0703.
