Stefanie Pont of Bully Breed Rescue, a Pit Bull rescue group and State Senator Bob Duff, talk about why they love the much maligned pit bull, at a fundraiser/adoption event at Best Friends in Norwalk. Both adopted their dogs from Bully Breed Rescue. This is Bob's second "pit." He calls them "the sweetest, most lovable dogs that are out there." The first time Stephanie saw the dog, "they didn't tell us he was a pit and for five seconds we were a little afraid. And then he curled up like a 75-pound lap dog and would sit on me or anyone else." Both happy owners agree that their dogs would "never hurt a fly." So flies, relax.
