Members of the Westport/Weston YMCA spin team hosted its third annual SpinOdyssey Wine Tasting and Silent Auction last weekend. The event raised about $12,000 for Norwalk Hospital's Whittingham Cancer Center breast cancer research and trials.

The event took place at the former Fat Cat Joe's in Norwalk and was the kickoff fundraiser for SpinOdyssey 2011, an indoor cycling, Zumba and tennis fundraiser set for March 6 at Intensity Fitness and Tennis Club in Norwalk. For more information on SpinOdyssey, visit its website.
