Root For Norwalk's STAR, Lighting the Way At Bluefish Game

NORWALK, Conn. – Stop by to cheer on STAR Inc., Lighting the Way as members of the Norwalk-based nonprofit throw out the opening pitch when the Bridgeport Bluefish take on the Camden Riversharks at the Harbor Yard in Bridgeport on Sunday.

STAR's recreational programs for adults with developmental disabilities offer opportunities for clients to socialize within the community. The organization works with individuals in Norwalk, Westport, Weston, Wilton, New Canaan and Darien.

STAR clients enjoy an array of fun activities through the program, including dances, miniature golf, SoundWaters ocean cruises, bowling at AMC Rip Van Winkle Lanes and more.

The baseball event will begin at 1 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 11, at Harbor Yard. Tickets can be purchased online.
