Rock Royal Lindsey Buckingham Reigns in Ridgefield

Grab the chance to see a live performance by singer-songwriter and guitarist extraordinaire Lindsey Buckingham when he takes the Ridgefield Playhouse stage on Sept. 24.  A 30-year member of the outstandingly popular band Fleetwood Mac, Buckingham helped shape rock 'n roll's sound, striking gold with "Rumours," the band's 1977 album. It went on to be an all-time best seller. With bandmates John McVie, Stevie Nicks and Mick Fleetwood, Buckingham performed to sellout crowds worldwide. To date, the band has sold more than 100 milliion records.

A Rock 'n Roll Hall of Fame inductee who also recently received ASCAP’s Golden Note Award and The Les Paul Award, Buckingham produced his first solo album in 1981. His Ridgefield performance on Saturday is slated to include selections from a new album released Sept 6, "Seeds We Sow." It's his sixth solo outing. Speaking of it, Buckingham says on his website, "It’s on my own terms. This is very much from the inside out and I hope I never stop doing that.” We couldn't agree more.  Tickets to Lindsey Buckingham's Ridgefield Playhouse performance are $85.
