NORWALK, Conn. — The Rowayton Memorial Day parade stepped off under sunny skies on Sunday as the village honored fallen soldiers as summer began.

The Norwalk Police Emerald Society Pipe and Drum corps was one of the groups taking part in the annual event.

Unfortunately, the Memorial Day Parade slated to step off Monday in downtown Norwalk has been canceled due to rain.
