Tauck World of Giving brought trees, ornaments and decorations to three Keystone client apartments and one of its group homes. Two teams of volunteers set up and decorated the apartments on Wednesday, Dec. 9.
The Tauck World of Giving is committed to affecting change and making a difference in the local community. It accomplishes this through raising awareness, financial support, donation of services and materials and engaging and inspiring its employees by providing access, time and opportunities to give back in a meaningful way.
“What a great day it was. We at Keystone House are very grateful to the kind and generous folks at Tauck. Having a group deliver, setup and decorate a tree is phenomenal,” said Valerie S. Williams, Executive Director.
Keystone House, founded in 1972, is a not-for-profit that offers residential and social support services for adults facing the many challenges of a serious mental illness.
Currently, Keystone House programs and services assist nearly 200 clients per year. Clients live in the greater Norwalk community and come from all types of diverse backgrounds. Most clients have low or no income and would not have celebrated the holiday with a Christmas tree.
