Remembering the suffering people of Japan was the theme of the day last Thursday at All Saints Catholic School in Norwalk, even with the St. Patrick's Day fun. Students who wanted to wear green were asked to pay for it in order to raise money for Catholic Charities' relief efforts in Japan. The students also wrote letters and prayers for the people of Japan.
The fee for the privilege of wearing green shorts or socks was $2 per person. A total of $1,400 was collected.
