The Hartford legislature couldn't get a bill out of committee so it could hold an up or down vote on beer and wine sales on Sundays. But the members did approve a bill letting farm stands sell pickles and salsa. So although you can buy pickles on Sunday, you can't get pickled on a Sunday unless you are in a bar.
