To the Editor,It occurred to me that the Educational Cost Sharing formula debate may someday be filed in our collective "be careful what we wish for" folder: a declining and unaccountable education system, the perception AND reality of increased crime, and poor urban planning all combine to result in lower property values, so in the end, won't it be sadly ironic that the current ECS formula will work by default our grand list might decline so much that our share of state funding will automatically go up ...
