Kids Strut the Write Stuff

It's time to rhyme at the Norwalk Public Library, where the Children's Library Writing Contest continues this month with the theme of poetry. Librarian Vicki Oatis holds the competition for kids in Kindergarten through Grade 6, every other month. The deadline for submissions is April 30th.

There is only one winner per contest, but every child's piece of writing will be displayed in the Children's Library. Runners-up get a free pass to the library's PJ's, Pizza and a Movie! night, which takes place on the last Thursday evening of every month. Pick up an entry form and instructions at the main branch, 1 Belden Avenue, 203-899-2780 ext. 131.
