Help Install New Mural At Norwalk's Calf Pasture Beach

NORWALK, Conn. -- The City of Norwalk is installing a new 100-square-foot mural at Calf Pasture Beach this weekend and you can lend a helping hand.

The community is invited to come and be part of this event and help place a tile on the wall between 12:00 and 5:00 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday with installer Nicolas Martinez. Children will also be invited to design and execute a 60-foot oyster shell and mosaic border.

Refreshments will be served, compliments of Stew Leonard's. Clay will also be on hand for any budding artists as part of the Clayworks Fodor Farm program.

The event is sponsored by The Bloom Brothers, Norwalk Board of Realtors, Alice McQuaid, Kaiser Battistone, Jerry’s Artrama and Tile America.
