Darien’s Good Wife’s River Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution will sponsor a Genealogy Workshop from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Darien Library.

Former National Society DAR Lineage Research Chairman and current CTDAR Curator, Jolene Mullen will be the guest speaker.

Her discussion will be "Looking Beyond Ancestry: Thinking Outside the Box to Break Down Your Brick Walls.”

The New Milford resident serves the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution as vice chairman of the Cold Closed Cases Project and has served as Chapter Registrar and Chapter Regent.

She is the author of  "CT Town Meeting Records during the Revolutionary War, April 1775-November 1783" (Heritage Books), among several books.

Current and prospective DAR members will be on hand to help with and participate in theresearch process. The public is invited to attend.

The workshop will be in the library's conference room, 1441 Post Road, Darien.
