Earth Day's Beat is Strong at Stepping Stones

In celebration of Earth Day, kids at Stepping Stones Museum danced to the music of Sirius Coyote, performers of children's music about environmental awareness.  They pretended to walk in the rainforest to the beat of drums.  Music was one of the many activites offered today including making art projects with recycled materials.

"We had a good turnout today.  A gray cloudy morning always helps," said Shelley Terry, interim Development Director who estimated more than 1,000 people attended today's celebration.  "Teaching kids to be enviromental stewards is intergral to our mission at Stepping Stones."
