NORWALK, Conn. The final hours of the Norwalk Boat Show were as busy as any other time during the weekend, with cars streaming down Calf Pasture Boulevard even as the show was winding down.
"I think people waited to see what the weather would be like," said an attendant at one of the packed parking lots.
In spite of the skittish economy, several boats had "sold" signs posted on their hulls. And even those who weren't in the buying mode came down to dream a bit.
"I could buy a boat, but I'd have to sell my house," said Dan Borgman of Rowayton. "It's fun to look, though. And there are always little things on sale at the booths in the tent, stuff you'd never see anywhere else. Some pretty unique, interesting stuff."
From little bric-a-bracs to 30-foot motor yachts, this year's Norwalk Boat Show had something for everyone.
