A large crowd walked or ran Saturday in the seventh annual Whittingham Cancer Center's annual benefit at Calf Pasture Beach in Norwalk. Co-chairman Holly and Jeff Pivor hoped to have nearly 2,500 people attend the event. Proceeds support cancer services at Norwalk Hospital and improve the lives of patients and their families. On a beautiful, breezy spring day, an emotional and lively crowd participated in the 5k run and 3k walk, with donations coming in throughout the day.
