It's official. Toyota has announced the crowd-sourced plural of Prius. The decision comes after a six weeklong campaign and the weighing-in of more than 1.8 million voters. Toyota began the baby-naming process in order to determine the correct nomenclature for new and multiple models of its popular Prius hybrid vehicle.
And the winner is? Prii. If you don't like it (is it me, or is "Prii" just a little unsatisfying?), take it up with Dictionary.com, which will officially enter the word Prii into the world's lexicon.
