West Elm Pops Up in Westport

West Elm, a trendy, lower-priced sister store to home decor giant, Pottery Barn, has opened a pop-up store on Main Street in Westport in the space vacated by The Gap.

The store will be open for six months, offering new merchandise on a daily basis, while management evaluates expanding into Fairfield County. West Elm has 39 stores across North America, including three in Manhattan and two in New Jersey.

The store carries a selection of tableware, seating, occasional tables, gift items and cookbooks, as well as bedding, throws, carpets and pillows.

West Elm also carries fabric samples of all its upholstered furniture, and sales staff will help customers place orders for any item in the catalog.
