Go for the view and one of the area's most extensive and high end buffets at Splash at Longshore Country Club. For a more laid back vibe in Westport, let her chow down on some St. Louis ribs or spicy pulled pork at Bobby Q's www.bobbyqsrestaurant.com where the down home barbecue menu will be available all day starting at 11:30 a.m.
In Fairfield, the trendy Pizzeria Molto will offer a special brunch menu from 11:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and reservations for three or more will be accepted. Molto's regular menu of pizza, pasta and more will be available all day as well. Feast on selections from the Molto mozzarella bar or, for the health conscious, select the crispy roasted salmon, one of the best versions of the ubiquitous dish in the county. Southport's famed Paci www.pacirestaurant.com is opening for brunch from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. with a special menu that includes oven puffed pancakes, steak and eggs, the classic trout almondine and more.
In Norwalk, Strada 18 www.strada18.com is offering a special, limited all-day menu which can be enjoyed a la carte or as a complete, three course meal. Lobster salad, rack of lamb and red snapper (get it while you still can) are the entrees being offered and Moms get a complimentary glass of prosecco. How about a Spanish feast for your madre? The critically acclaimed Meigas on Wall Street www.meigasrestaurant.com has a special menu for lunch and dinner that includes roast suckling pig, pan seared blue fin tuna, and stuffed organic quail among many other options.
