Fairfield County foodies have been waiting with bated breath for the latest upscale Italian restaurant, Toscana, to open in Greenwich. I got the scoop that, at long last, Toscana will be open for business tonight.
Toscana is the latest creative endeavor of restaurateur and film producer Paul Ardaji. Under this authentically Mediterranean roof, Paul joins forces with Florentine Chef Patrizio D'Andrea to create a dining experience they promise will "resonate" with their guests and keep them coming back for more. A friend had a recent sneak preview of Toscana and had this to say: "When you are in Toscana you feel trasplanted to Tuscany. There is perfect attention to all detail. The food is excellent and the wait staff is very friendly. It's a gem."
Of course, I will try it out for myself and share every last savory detail with you. Look for that piece to come next week. In the meantime, if you're looking for a newer than new restaurant to try this weekend, put Toscana on your list. But if you go, you have to promise to tell me all about it.
