Stamford resident Tazio Torregiani, the 12 year-old kart-driving phenom, recently began the second round of racing in the 2011 World Karting Association Man Cup National Championship at Carolina Motorsports Park, in Kershaw SC.
Young Tazio finished 12th in the first Cadet Final, from a 19th qualifying position. He would have placed higher in the second final but he was hit on the right rear tire and spun off the track, which forced him out of the race.
In the final race Tazio finished in eighth place, securing himself another top ten standing in the early racing season.
