Time to Stock up on Holiday Bargains

If you’re looking to get a jumpstart on your holiday shopping, now is the time to do it. “Waddya mean, holiday shopping?” I hear you say. I know, I know. We’ve just exhaled, but there are bargains out there just crying to be snatched up. The stores are clearing out their overstocked holiday goods and things are going cheaply.

Crate & Barrel in Westport has all sorts of items at amazing prices. I loved the big stars. They come in two sizes. Buy a couple of small ones and one big one and next year, nestle them in the greenery on the mantel. They’ll look smashing!

All the ornaments are 70 percent off but they won’t last long at those prices. And if you like candles, you’ll love the red glass votive holders. Remember, Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, and red will be the color of the day.
