Confusion reigned during Halloween afternoon around several towns with rumors swirling that the holiday was being canceled or postponed. In Westport, the town went so far as to try to officially move the holiday to Nov. 5.
In the end, however, kids and adults alike donned their costumes and made the most of it, despite the snow on the ground. Here are some looks from Halloween revelers.
