Thanksgiving Bounty Yields Skinny Pines Pie

The Westport Farmers’ Market has issued a holiday challenge to locavores. Lori Cochran-Dougall, Director of the WFM, wants to know how many dishes on your Thanksgiving table are made with ingredients of which you know the origin or source. “And Whole Foods doesn’t count,” she jokes.

The person with the most dishes of known origin will win a Skinny Pines pizza, courtesy of the WFM.

Think you have a shot at the pie? Email Cochran-Dougall at director@westportfarmersmarket.com and tell her what you’re serving and where it came from.

The WFM will be closed Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 24, and reopen Dec. 1 at its winter location at Gilbertie’s Herb Garden, located at 7 Sylvan Ln. in Westport.
