A veritable smorgasbord of international foods from some of Westport's top restaurants will anchor the sixth annual "A Taste of Westport" charity event on Thursday, May 6 at Earthplace, 10 Woodside Lane. Matsu Sushi, Blue Lemon, Tengda, Da Pietro's, Bombay Kitchen and others are among the food sponsors for the evening who will be offering samples of their unique brands of cuisine.
The evening is a benefit for CLASP Homes, Inc., a local not-for-profit organization serving people with developmental disabilities. Funds raised will be used to support CLASP's residential, recreational and vocational programs. Tickets are $75 for VIP tickets or $55 general admission (advance purchase only) and $65 at the door. A silent auction and cocktails will also be part of the festivities and the evening's journal will double as a keepsake recipe booklet. For more information go to tasteofwestport.com.
