Sugar & Olives Serves up Valentine Treat

We’re down to the wire for Valentine’s Day dinner plans. And just in case you didn’t follow this piece of sage advice about planning ahead, Sugar & Olives has your back.

The local and sustainable gastro-mavens at Sugar & Olives have put together a deliciously intimate prix-fixe evening that will work for you and your family, or even just you and “your hottie,” says Sugar & Olives owner and head chef, Jennifer Balin.

Balin’s menu is packed with dishes you’ll easily fall for: winter citrus salad, deep fried pouissin, black ledge blue cheese lamb burgers and the saucily named mushroom and drunk monk tartlet.

Kids can choose from veggie mac and cheese, sausage pizza, devil dogs and red velvet layer cake, among other kid friendly delights. The three course menu includes food and wine for $60 per person, $20 per child.

Balin and her staff will offer three seatings. Families with kids can dine at 5 p.m., and couples have their choice of a 7:30 or 8:30 p.m. seating. Call (203) 454-3663 for a reservation.

Sugar & Olives is located at 21 1/2 Lois St. in Norwalk.
