Do you want to be a gardener, but dont know where to start? No worries. Head for Stew Leonards Garden Center in Norwalk and Jeannie Mortensen, Stews Garden Jeannie, will teach you everything you need to know.
Free workshops run every Saturday morning from 9 to 10 a.m. through the summer. Youll learn how to grow tomatoes and flowers, and youll get tips on organic gardening. Theres a class on fruit trees and bushes, and another on dealing with deer and other pesky backyard critters. Are you a rose lover? Come and learn how to grow them. Or maybe hydrangeas are your favorites? Theres a class on both these long-flowering beauties.
