Stew Leonard's Hosts 38th Annual Turkey Brigade

NORWALK, Conn. -- Stew Leonard’s continues its long-standing tradition of giving thanks to the communities it serves with its 38th annual “Turkey Brigade.”

The event will take place on Thursday, Nov. 16 at 10 a.m. at the Norwalk store and at 11 a.m. at the Danbury location.

Approximately 2,500 turkeys will be distributed to more than 100 churches, civic groups, elderly housing and senior nutrition programs, and schools in the Norwalk, Newington, and Danbury area as well as in the New York area communities Stew serves (i.e. East Meadow, Farmingdale, and Yonkers). The goal is to help provide Thanksgiving Day meals for families in need.
