Spring Brings Promise of Outdoor Dining

While the immediate forecast in Fairfield County calls for snow, the calendar clearly states we’ve entered spring, and meteorologists promise sunny days in the very near future. In anticipation of balmier days to come, and shrugging off the heavy mantle of The Longest Winter Ever, I am gleefully looking forward to enjoying lunches and dinners at some of the area’s best outdoor dining hot spots.

Over the coming weeks I will profile the coolest spots to spend warm days and breezy nights. From casual to elegant, beachside to backyard barbecue style, I will highlight the outstanding outdoor dining destinations around our towns. And I want your help.

What’s your favorite patio to share lunch with a friend? Is there a new restaurant with a patio opening in your neighborhood? Or maybe you’re waiting for your family’s favorite restaurant to open their front windows and let the sun shine in. Wherever it is you like to break bread al fresco, I want to hear about it.
