Shop for the Cure

In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Saks Fifth Avenue Greenwich will host a Key to the Cure luncheon and shopping event to raise awareness for women’s cancers and money for CancerCare.

“We’ve done this every year since 1999,” said Geri Corrigan, Director of Marketing for Saks Greenwich, of the store’s involvement. In that time, the retailer has donated over $30 million to women’s cancer research and treatment organizations throughout the United States.

As in previous years, local volunteer models from throughout Fairfield County will show off expertly styled looks by some of the season’s hottest designers during the kick-off celebration, happening Thursday, Oct. 20. And this year, Elie Tahari has designed a signature, limited-edition Key to The Cure T-shirt, which will be available for purchase at the luncheon event. Proceeds from the luncheon, t-shirt and shopping events through Sunday, Oct. 23 will go to CancerCare.
