In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Saks Fifth Avenue Greenwich will host a Key to the Cure luncheon and shopping event to raise awareness for womens cancers and money for CancerCare.
Weve done this every year since 1999, said Geri Corrigan, Director of Marketing for Saks Greenwich, of the stores involvement. In that time, the retailer has donated over $30 million to womens cancer research and treatment organizations throughout the United States.
As in previous years, local volunteer models from throughout Fairfield County will show off expertly styled looks by some of the seasons hottest designers during the kick-off celebration, happening Thursday, Oct. 20. And this year, Elie Tahari has designed a signature, limited-edition Key to The Cure T-shirt, which will be available for purchase at the luncheon event. Proceeds from the luncheon, t-shirt and shopping events through Sunday, Oct. 23 will go to CancerCare.
