Rolls-Royce Evokes Another Kind of Green

Are you thinking of hopping on the electric car bandwagon? If you don’t want to burn fuel but have no problem burning money, then the new Rolls-Royce Phantom 102EX might be the chariot for you.

While only phantom specs of an electric version of the Phantom are floating around the Internet, official details will be released within the next couple of weeks. No price has been mentioned, but for the sake of reference, a gasoline-powered Rolls-Royce -- weighing in at more than 5,500 pounds -- has a base price of $380,000. For that exorbitant amount, you might ask, what kind of mileage does it get? About 11 miles per gallon for city driving and some 18 on the highway, according to EPA estimates.

With an almost half a million dollar price tag, all I want to know is this: how many cup holders does it have?
