The race also includes a 5K & Kids Fun Run. Runners will enjoy a unique and exciting course through historic South Norwalk, along beautiful coastline, down charming picturesque treelined streets and past many of Norwalk's notable landmarks and attractions.
The day kicks off at 9 a.m. with the start of the half marathon, which is immediately followed by the start of the 5K race. Children will enjoy crafts and entertainment until their race begins at 11:30 am.
Kids Fun Run includes:
100 yard dash (ages 3-5)
½ mile run (ages 6-8)
1 mile run (ages 9-11)
Finishers of all events will receive a finisher’s medal and free food and beverage at the post race party. Overall, age group, and fastest First Responder awards will also be given out to top three male and female in each division.
Tech shirts are provided to individuals who register for the half marathon or 5K prior to Oct. 15, 2016. Kids Fun Run participants will receive youth cotton tees.
