If enjoying farm-fresh food, a champagne greeting, and live music al fresco sounds good to you, then you should grab your tickets to this Ambler Farm event. It's a sunset picnic in Wilton, and everyone is invited.
A Delicious Affair will provide artisanal eats as picnickers spread their blankets on the sweet grass to eat, listen and watch the sun set together.
The Sunset Picnic Menu:- Organic farm greens with crispy bacon, cornbread croutons, and homemade buttermilk dressing- Local sweet corn salad with basil, red onion, scallions, cherry tomatoes, and cilantro- Roasted potato salad with wilted baby spinach- Quinoa salad with toasted pecans, berries, mint, and raspberry vinaigrette- Organic grilled summer vegetables with crumbled chevre- Mix of organic grilled steak with chimichurri sauce and steak sandwiches with caramelized onions on foccacia- Organic grilled chicken paillards with mango salsa or balsamic lemon vinaigrette- Local artisan breads with honey butter
Bring wine to whet your whistle, as this is a BYOB event. Non-alcoholic beverages will be provided.
Tickets are $65 per person, or $60 for members. And make sure you snag a sitter for the little ones now, because this is evening is just for grown-ups. Register by May 28 for this June 4 event.
