Its that time again in Fairfield County. The much-anticipated feeding frenzy that is the Oyster Festival starts Friday, Sept. 9. Local foodies and chefs from around the state and the country will converge on Veterans Memorial Park for some of the best seafood and entertainment the area has to offer.
Celebrating its 34th year, the Oyster Fest is an annual event packed with food and fun for the whole family. As many as 50,000 people will gather to taste oysters on the half shell, clam chouder, soft shell crabs, lobster bisque. Its a seafood lovers dream weekend.
