Picnics and parades are expected fare for Memorial Day celebrations, but Chef and Owner Patrick Tennaro of Old Post Tavern will get into the true spirit of the holiday this May 30.
The cozy dining spot is situated along the parade route in at 1418 Post Rd. in downtown Fairfield. And Chef Tennaro plans to use his proximity to the parade to celebrate local heroes. Hell be serving a special, complimentary brunch to U.S. Armed Forces Veterans and their families from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
We are looking forward to being a part of the community, especially on such a momentous day, says Tennaro.
Even if you arent among the ranks who have served your country, you can still sample Chef Tennaros fare on parade day. Hell be selling breakfast sandwiches and coffee in front of his restaurant for all the revelers.
