Mr. Handyman Helps Homeowner Keep His Cool

After a couple of months of tropical conditions last summer, Ron Nelson of Old Greenwich couldn't stand the heat any more. He didn't heed Harry Truman's advice and get out of the kitchen, however. Instead, he bought a couple of air conditioners.

But he realized installing the units in the windows was more of a task than he was up to, so he called Mr. Handyman for an assist.

"They were great," Nelson said. "They came right away, mounted them in the windows, made sure they were set properly." A few months later, when Nelson had central air conditioning installed in his home, Mr. Handyman came back and helped remove the window units.

"It's nice to call somebody when you're in a pinch and have them come right over," said Nelson. "It's nice to have them here."

For a hot, sweaty homeowner, Mr. Handyman proved to be nothing but a real cool breeze.
