Hungry and Snowed In? Pizzerias Are Still Cooking

Another day, another foot of snow. And another foot of snow means another day of being snowed in. What hits the spot on a snowy day better than a pizza hot out of the oven? Well, I did some reconnaissance work and found these pizzerias taking a cue from the U.S. Postal Service. Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these pizza parlors from the swift delivery of their freshly made pies.

Darien: Heights Pizza, 330 Heights Road. Find their menu here, or give them a call (203) 656-3200.

Greenwich: Planet Pizza, 28 Railroad Place. Take a look at the menu, then call in your order for delivery to (203) 622-0999.

Norwalk: Both of Jordan’s Norwalk locations -- 252 Flax Hill Road and 369 Westport Ave. -- are open and making deliveries. After you review the menu, call the Flax Hill Road location at (203) 852-0003, or the Westport Avenue store at (203) 846-9557.

Westport: Joe’s Pizza and Italian Restaurant, 143 Post Road East. Check out the menu, then call in your order to (203) 227-7887.
