Home & Garden Editor Takes the Podium

I am probably one of the luckiest people in the world. I have a job that incorporates all the things I love to do. I used to dream of being a writer, and now I’ve become a journalist. I’m an interior designer and now I get to write about all sorts of things to do with houses. And I’m a passionate gardener. Last year the only produce I bought at the store between May and November were lemons and avocados. I grew  the rest of our veggies in my tiny garden. You can read about my garden and all sorts of other gardens on the Home & Garden page of The Daily Fairfield. My page is featured online on all our 10 town sites, from Greenwich to Easton.

One of the best things about my job is that I meet and write about the most wonderful people here in Fairfield County. And I can’t tell you how much I’m learning. It all gets passed on to you. On Sunday March 20, I’m going to be talking about my job at The Garden Expo at Fairfield’s Ludlowe High School. If you’d like to learn more about what it means to be a Home & Garden editor, stop by and say hello. I’m always on the lookout for new stories, so bring me photos of your garden, or of a project you’ve tackled in your home. See you on Sunday!

Can't come on Sunday? Got any story ideas for me? Leave me a note below or email me at fpearson@mainstreetconnect.us.
