Holiday Stroll "App"-lies Smart Tech This Season

News of seasonal sales and holiday bargains used to spread by word of mouth, or by good old fashioned advertising. But smart technology has us all wising up. This year, the Greenwich Holiday Stroll invites shoppers to navigate seasonal sales on The Ave. with a brand new app, “Shopper on the Go.”

“Shopper on the Go,” developed by Mobile Consumer, LLC, of Greenwich, is a location-based app that allows users to register, and then geo-targets the sales and bargains it displays to the user’s location. The intuitive interface shows you the store, the deal, the start and end dates, and with one additional click, takes you to a screen with the coupon code and participating locations. It then allows you to save, redeem or share the bargain on your social networks. The app is currently available for iPhone, iPad, iTouch and Android.

WishList, Jacadi,  Polarn O. Pyret and Kate Spade are all sharing their deals with app-savvy shoppers. So this weekend, as you sample the season at the Greenwich Holiday Stroll Dec. 3 and 4, why not map out your bargain hunting with the free mobile app, “Shopper on the Go?” The more you “app”-ly yourself, the more you’ll save.
