Greenwich Food & Wine Fest Preps for Deliciousness

Mark your calendars, food and wine lovers. The inaugural Greenwich Food & Wine Festival is just around the corner. This two-day event, sponsored by Serendipity magazine, will run the weekend of Oct. 22 and 23 at the Roger Sherman Baldwin Park in Greenwich, and will feature tastings and demos with local and celebrity chefs.

It promises to be a fine food fest in the truest sense. The Culinary Village tent will house more than 60 food, wine and spirits experts, from grill masters to brunch enthusiasts. You’ll even be able to get your groove on as you taste, with big ticket acts like Natasha Bedingfield and Rusted Root making the scene. And it’s all happening to benefit the Breast Cancer Alliance of Greenwich.

Celebrity chefs such as Jacque Pépin, Michel Nischan, Graham Elliot, Stephen Asprinio and Joy Bauer will be on hand, along with Rui Correia, Debra Ponzek and Scott Quis.

“We’re pleased to be hosting this very special culinary event to Greenwich, benefitting such an important cause,” said Suni Unger, Founder and CEO of Serendipity magazine.  “The highlight of the event will be Saturday evening’s Grand Tasting Gala, featuring samplings from the finest restaurants in the area, as well as a performance by Natasha Bedingfield.”

Ticket prices range from $80 - $2000, with admission including access to complimentary food, wine and spirits, celebrity guest demonstrations, shopping at the Gourmet Market Place, musical performances and complimentary gifts.
