Fork it Over, Fast

Tickets are on sale now for the most celebrated and sustainable meal of the New Year. The Westport Farmers' Market (WFM) is hosting its “Fork it Over” fundraiser on Jan. 28. But don’t fool yourself into thinking you have time to spare in snagging your tickets to this delicious event.

Local celebrity chefs such as Bill Taibe of leFarm, Matt Storch of Match, Tim LaBant of The Schoolhouse at Cannondale, Michel Nischan of Dressing Room and John Barricelli of SoNo Baking Company are all slated to cook up something special to raise some much needed funds for the Fairfield County institution that is WFM. With only 200 tickets available, you better act quickly to secure your seats.

Chefs will prepare four dishes a piece, which will be expertly paired with cocktails and other libations. And the Gilbertie’s Herb Gardens greenhouse will provide the perfect winter oasis for the most inventive meal you’re likely to have this season.

Tickets are $150 per plate and proceeds will benefit the WFM and the work it does with local growers and community leaders.
